“Kenya Election Law Amendment Takes Effect.” BBC, 2017, www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-41859171. Accessed 5 Nov. 2017.
This articles topic is a new law in Kenya's government, which makes it more difficult for the Supreme Court to annual elections. The new president Uhuru Kenyatta didn't exactly agree with the new bill but since he didn't send it back to parliament it instantly became a new law. The bill also stated that any IBEC position if it is vacant to be replaced with a deputy or another member of the commission. This article has to deal with what we learned in the Africa Unit because it deals with a Sub-Saharan country and their government.
