Studies show that adults in the early stages of Parkinson’s disease are safe to exercise with an intense treadmill workout, which can slow the progression of their condition. Considering how Parkinson’s disease is currently incurable, researchers have discovered other treatment options that should be done during the beginning stages of the disease that could delay the most severe effects. The research was conducted in Phases where people with Parkinson’s Disease were tested by doing different intensity levels of exercise. After six months, everyone’s scores were evaluated and compared, proving how there was almost no decline in the disease scores in which the intense exercise helped the most.
