Modern technology has made an impact on everyday activities, such as shopping at a supermarket. Establishers of Amazon have created a new way of grocery shopping that allows customers to avoid lines and not have to pull out any credit card or cash. Instead, customers are free to exit the store through multiple gates in which their purchases will be charged through their smartphone. The significance of this new technology is that there are many cameras set up throughout the store that can record what items you take off or put on the shelves, therefore charging you for that item. Just by using a smartphone, customers have the opportunity to shop efficiently and quickly thanks to technology.
